Whether you’ve decided you want to eat healthier, get fit, or read more, affirmations can always help. Affirmations are like chants, you say to yourself to keep yourself motivated. It’s best to repeat them after getting out of bed and right before getting into bed. They should be repeated about 10 times.

It’s important to review your goals often. The more they are reviewed they’ll stick in your head more. And once this begins it can be easier to set new goals, as you achieve your current ones.

One of the best ways to achieve your goals is to never stop once you’ve started. Streaks are very important while reaching goals. If you’re about to give up, just think about all the days that would go to waste if you stopped working towards your goal.

Even if exercise isn’t one of your main goals, it’s a heck of a motivator. Once you get your heart pumping, you’ll be healthier physically and mentally. And when your mental health is in good shape, it’ll be easier to keep the motivation towards a healthier and all-around better lifestyle.
